On October 8, 2010, the President signed into law the 21st century Communications and Video Accessibility act. This new legislation requires more captioning on Internet programming and audio description on TV programming. Audio Description, sometimes called Video Description or Descriptive Video refers to the creation of a second audio track, mixing original audio with that of a narrator describing the video benefits millions of viewers who are blind or have low vision. VITAC celebrates the signing of this landmark legislation by offering the Halloween horror classic "Night of the Living Dead" described and captioned.
